To recognize Energy Online customers for their continued loyalty we are giving away a $200 bill credit to twenty-five lucky residential customers (“Promotion”).

1. The Promotion is open until 20 December 2020 (“Promotion Period”) to Energy Online new and existing residential Electricity, LPG or Natural Gas customers.

 

2. To be eligible for the Promotion you must be an active existing Energy Online residential customer account holder with an open account status during the Promotion Period or a new Energy Online residential customer who signs up with Energy Online before the applicable Draw Date during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Participant”).

 

3. This Promotion grants each Eligible Participant one entry into the prize draw (“Prize Draw”) for a chance to win one of twenty-five $200 prizes in accordance with these terms and conditions (“Promotion Terms”).

 

4. Each Prize Winner must have an open active residential Energy Online account on the Draw Date and the account is operating in compliance with the Energy Online standard terms and conditions. Closure of the Energy Online account before the Prize is awarded will result in the Prize being forfeited and all energy usage will be charged as per standard Energy Online pricing.

 

5. The Promotion is for residential customers only and for the primary residence of the account holder.

 

6. Commercial customers and residential customers with a property deemed to be commercial in nature are not eligible.

 

7. Customers with multiple properties/residences on a single account are eligible to enter, however the Prize can only be applied to a single property/residence.

 

8. A valid email address and contact phone number must be provided, failure to do so may result in being excluded from receiving the Prize.

 

9. Energy Online retains the right to exclude customers deemed to be in debt with Energy Online or in account arrears.

 

10. New customers are subject to Energy Online’s standard joining terms and conditions.

11. The prize is a credit of the value of $200 inc gst and after and applicable Prompt Payment Discount on the Prize Winner’s Energy Online account (“Prize”). The Prize will be credited to the Prize Winner’s next eligible bill following the applicable Draw Date for their Energy Online primary residential account.

 

12. Energy Online may, in its sole discretion, determine that it will not award the Prize to the Prize Winner for reasons including where the Prize Winner’s account is in breach of the Energy Online standard terms and conditions, awarding the Prize may, (in Energy Online’s sole discretion) adversely impact the reputation of Energy Online, or where the Prize Winner is no longer eligible.    

13. The Prize Draw will be on 21st December 2020 (“Draw Date”) by randomly selecting twenty-five Eligible Participants to receive one of twenty-five Prizes (each a “Prize Winner”) and will be notified by email or telephone within five business days after the Draw Date.

 

14. If the Prize Winners cannot be contacted within the specified timeframe or are not eligible to win the Prize, that Prize will be redrawn until the winners for that Prize are drawn and notified and the Prize has been accepted.

 
 

15. By accepting the Prize, the Prize Winner’s name, image and details may be used by Energy Online for promotional purposes, including online and on social media, and the Prize Winner agrees to participate in any publicity arrangements that Energy Online may reasonably require. All personal information will be held in accordance with Energy Online’s Privacy Policy.

16. The promoter of the Prize is Genesis Energy Limited trading as Energy Online.

 

17. The Prize is not transferable, refundable nor redeemable for cash.

 

18. This Prize is not available in conjunction with any other offer from Energy Online.

 

19. This Promotion is only open to current Energy Online residential electricity customers residing in New Zealand.

 

20. Employees, contractors or agents of Energy Online or Genesis Energy Limited are not eligible for the Promotion.


21. The results of the Prize Draw are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

22. Entry into this Promotion implies full acceptance of all the Promotion Terms. If the Prize Winner does not accept the Promotion Terms, the Prize will be forfeited


23. All new customer applications are subject to a credit check.

 

24. The standard Energy Online pricing will apply at the end of the Promotion Period.

 

25. Energy Online standard terms and conditions and your applicable plan terms apply at all times.

 

26. Energy Online reserves the right to amend these Promotion Terms at any time.

 

27. Energy Online reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, withdraw, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any customers from the Promotion at any time without prior notice.

 

28. By participating in the Promotion and/or accepting a Prize you accept and agree to be bound by these Promotion Terms and any other applicable terms and conditions.

 

29. Energy Online’s standard terms and conditions will also apply and take precedence if there is any inconsistency between them and the Promotion Terms.
